On 17 and 20 October 2016 a Slovenian business delegation attended a meeting held with the Kuwait
Chamber of Commerce and Industry to present to them the Slovenian-Kuwaiti Chamber of Commerce (hereinafter: the Chamber), which was established in Slovenia in October 2016.
The meeting with Kuwaiti high representatives was attended by Dr Asim Busch-Pusitsch, the director of the Slovenian-Kuwaiti Chamber, Mr Esad Ajeti, an advisor, and Ante Milevoj, the director of the Centre for International Business (CEMP) from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia (GZS).
The activities of the Chamber were also presented to Sheikh Talal Mohammad Sabah Soud Alsabah from the royal family, who will also be our honorary and high guest at the congress, which we will organise on 11 November 2016.
The Slovenian-Kuwaiti Chamber of Commerce was established to strengthen commercial ties between the two countries.
One of the main objectives of the Chamber is the placement of Slovenian products abroad and to also support and provide other Slovenian companies with this opportunity.
The meeting was more than a success. Similar steps will raise Slovenia’s profile, making it more recognisable.
